ADBIS’2021 CALL FOR PAPERS

Aims and Scope

The main objective of the ADBIS series of conferences is to provide a forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and to promote interaction and collaboration between the database and information systems research communities from European countries and the rest of the world. The ADBIS conferences provide an international platform for the presentation of research on database theory, development of advanced DBMS technologies and their advanced applications.

ADBIS 2021 will consist of regular sessions with technical contributions reviewed and selected by an international program committee, as well as of invited talks presented by leading scientists. The official language of the conference will be English.

Paper submission deadline: 15 March 2021 2 April 2021 at 14:00 CEST
Notification of acceptance: 26 April 2021 3 May 2021
Camera-ready papers: 24 May 2021

Paper submission

The organizers of ADBIS 2021 invite original papers (not submitted in elsewhere in parallel) describing results that broadly belong to both theory and practice of databases and information systems. The aforementioned list of topics is not exhaustive and we welcome novel results addressing topics not included in the list.

The page limits are as follows: (1) full research papers – 14 LNCS style pages, (2) short – 10 LNCS style pages.

Papers must be submitted via Easy Chair.

Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.

Paper publishing

Full research papers will be published in the Springer LNCS series. Short research papers will be published in the Springer CCIS series. Previous ADBIS proceedings

           

A selected subset of authors will be invited to submit an extended and revised version of their papers to one of two special issues: one in the journal Information Systems (Elsevier) and another in the journal Information Systems Frontiers (Springer).

Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form.

The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.
