Guidelines for travelling to Estonia (also see https://www.ut.ee/en/admissions/how-get-tartu)
Best option is to take a flight to Tallinn. Tallinn has direct air links to numerous cities, including the nearby Baltic capitals, Riga and Vilnius. It is also easy to fly in direct from Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, Frankfurt, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Helsinki, Kiev, London, Moscow, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Stockholm, St. Petersburg and Warsaw.
After arriving to Tallinn airport it is the best option to take a taxi to the train station (called “Balti jaam”) or bus station (called Tallinn bus station, address Lastekodu 46, 10144 Tallinn).
Take a bus or train to Tartu.
For the hotels, potentially we recommend “Dorpat” or “London”, but the extended list of the hotels is available under Accommodation.
Dorpat is right next to the bus station (address: Soola 6, 51013 Tartu) so if you will come by bus that would be a good choice. Train station is a little bit away from the city so it is better to take a taxi from there to the hotel. Hotel London is in the address Rüütli 9, 51007 Tartu.
Once you arrive to the hotel it is easy to take a short walk through the city along the river to come to our institute (address Narva mnt 18, Tartu, Delta building).
If your flight departs from Tallinn then you will need to take a train or bus back there (and then a taxi to the airport after).
Coming to the Institute of Computer Science at Narva mnt. 18, Tartu
